New posters about forest trees (1)

The posters are loaded with interesting and easily understood information about the use of trees and the importance of their genetic variation. The posters are made in cooperation with the Norwegian Centre for Science Education. They are in Norwegian, and can be ordered or downloaded for free. The five posters made so far are illustrated with nice pictures and contain information about two or more forest tree species; oak (

Quercus robur

 and

Q. petraea

), wild fruit trees (apple and cherry), birch (

Betula verrucosa, B. pubescens

 and

B. nana

), the conifers Norway spruce (

Picea abies

) and Scots pine (

Pinus sylvestris

), and finally rowan and other

Sorbus
