NordGen Farm Animals is now hiring a Senior Advisor with interest in animal genetic resources, multi-stakeholder collaboration and communication.
You will work with various tasks within the field of animal genetic resources, in a both Nordic and international arena. The position requires that you are keen on taking own initiatives and have a strong network.
Your main responsibilities will be:
organizing and participating in activities on sustainable conservation and use of farm animal genetic resources
communication activities like updating the web-site, writing news articles, helping with promotional activities and inputs to NordGens communication team
project participation and management
planning and administering seminars and training courses
establishing and strengthening relationships with stakeholders and policy makers within the farm animal sector in the Nordic countries
promoting Nordic animal genetic resources on Nordic- and international level.
In return, you will have the possibility to develop on a both personal and professional level. As Senior Advisor at NordGen Farm Animal you will make a concrete difference when it comes to the preservation and sustainable use of our Nordic native breeds.
The position is placed in Ås, south of Oslo in Norway.
