New report on the Nordic Brown Bee

Final report of the project on the conservation of the Nordic brown bee is now available as a hard-copy as well as

electronically

. The report summarizes the current status on the Nordic brown bee in the Nordic-Baltic region, describes the distinctiveness of the Nordic brown bee as well as identifies the major challenges for the conservation of this endangered subspecies. The report is based on a literature review, fieldwork and stakeholder interviews done within a collaborative project of MTT Agrifood Research Finland and NordGen Farm Animals.
