Join us on Faroe Islands on 11-12 February for NordWool 2026 - a unique gathering celebrating the diversity and potential of Nordic landrace sheep breeds and their wool.

This two-day workshop will bring together wool enthusiasts from across the Nordic region to share knowledge, spark inspiration, and explore the future of Nordic wool. The event is organized by NordGen in collaboration with the local host Búnaðarstovan, Agriculture Agency, Faroe Islands, and the NordWool network (financed by NKJ).
- Expert talks on Nordic sheep research, wool assessment, breed characteristics, and wool processing.
- Hands-on wool evaluation sessions, plus a showroom of wool and wool products across the Nordic countries.
- Opportunities for discussions and knowledge exchange.
- A field excursion to visit local stakeholder companies.
Participation fee: Free of charge.
Included: All workshop activities (including fieldtrip), transport between hotel and Búnaðarstovan, lunches and coffee breaks.
Not included (to be covered by participants):
- Travel expenses.
- Accommodation.
- Beverages during field trip lunch on the 11th.
- Dinner in the evening of the 11th (optional).
